Born in Poland but spent her childhood in France with her parents. At 11 returned to Poland to complete her schooling in Warsaw. Studied Sociology at the University of Warsaw. Interrupted her studies when she married Michal Jarema in 1934. Took part in the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. Once the war was ended made her way to France with her husband and children and emigrated to Canada in 1951. Died at the age of 76, mourned by her husband and three children, Aleksandra, Pawel and Andrzej.
Her mother, Zofia Malczewska, is buried in lot no. 16 [lot C1 015].

Born in Warsaw, christened in the city's historic St John’s Cathedral. Arrived in Canada in 1951 with his wife Irena (above) and three children. Died in Montreal at the age of 85
